This archive is for those of you who, like me, adore vintage mannequins. I have had the pleasure of owning (if only for a short time) a wide range of vintage and antique mannequins, before I packaged them safely and sent them to their new owners.
They ranged from wasp waisted mannequins from the 1800s to French Stockman mannequins from the 1960s. I particularly loved (and still do) the Art Deco, plaster , counter top mannequins from the 30s - pure glamour!
While each mannequin was with me, they were displayed in my home and I loved looking at them every day. Although they are all now happily settled in new homes, I still have all the pictures and thought you might like to see some of them.
