This lovely wasp waist mannequin came to me with her fabric covering in a terrible state, so I have decoupaged her in original coloured pictures from French newspapers dating from the 1890s. The stunning lady on the front, dressed in her opera costume, was on the front page of one of the newspapers. She must have been very famous in her time - I have included her name under the picture in case anyone would like to investigate who she was!
The stand and finial are modern replacements, but in exactly the style of the original.
