This stunning corset advertising mannequin dates to around the 1930s/40s and is such a wonderful example of corsetry history. She is in excellent condition and I can't see any damage at all to the corset or silk covering. The fabric is marked in places through her handling over the years and she has a couple of smudges on her bust. This is to be expected considering her age and in no way detracts from her overall charm.
The corset itself is an exact replica of the real thing, complete with all the boning and clips. It looks as if the corset could be removed as it is pinned onto the mannequin rather than sewn in place.
