Vintage French Mannequin - Original Newspaper Covering c1913

The fabric of this mannequin was in a very poor state when she came to me. What a joy it was to see the original newspaper covering reveal itself as I removed the fabric. I have given her a coat of clear varnish to protect the newspaper and she retains her original fabric covered arm caps. The height can be adjusted by way of the original metal turnkey and the stand is original also. The torso has a few lumps and bumps and a bit of crushing to the front, but nothing major and to be expected given her age.

hips: 37.5 inches

height from top of finial to floor: 159 cm (the stand is height adjustable, so she can be made taller than this)
