Antique Vintage French Stockman Waspwaist Mannequin - 1912 - Original Newspaper Covering

The fabric of this waspwaist mannequin was in a very poor state when she came to me. What a joy it was to see the original newspaper covering reveal itself as I removed the fabric. This is one mannequin I can date ecactly, she has a date on the newspaper - 9th September 1912. I have given her a coat of clear varnish to protect the newspaper and she retains her original ebonised arm caps. The torso has a few lumps and bumps and a bit of crushing to the front, but nothing major and to be expected given her age. The stand and finial are replacements in the exact style of the originals. She is not height adjustable. She has a tiny 20 inch waist!
