This lovely wasp waist mannequin came to me with her fabric covering in a terrible state, so I have decoupaged her in original coloured pictures from French newspapers dating from the 1890s. I have given her a coat of clear varnish to protect the newspapers. The stand and finial are modern replacements, but in exactly the style of the original.
