I love these British made Chil-Daw tailors mannequins - they are so elegant! These mannequins were made in the 1950s and intended for practical use. They are so well made that many of them are still in use today - but not in this wonderful condition. The fabric is very clean and all the dials turn freely. The original stand has the normal scuffs expected from a lady of this age. The great thing about this mannequin is that she can be used for dressmaking purposes and when not in use makes a beautiful display item.
Measurements: bust - 32 - 39 inches, waist - 24 - 31 inches, hips - 35 - 42 inches, height (from the top of the finial to the floor) - 170 cm (the mannequin can be lowered and made taller from this height)
