This vintage display head is so typical of the 1930s style. Her hair is moulded into a cute bob and she has the rosebud lips of the time. She sits on an integrated Art Deco plinth. These vintage display heads always seem to have a their own individual characters. They were modeled on real people after all and I always got a feeling of gentle kindness from the expression on her face. I hope you can see this from the photographs. I wonder if the sculptor captured that from the real young woman who modelled for him? I hope so.
