I can just imagine this vintage mannequin in the window of a smart shop in the early 1900s. Definately intended as a table top display bust, rather than a tailors / dressmakers dress form, the torso could be heightened by way of an original brass key located just underneath the body. This antique mannequin is a Stockman make from France and so of very high quality - no wonder it is still intact all these years later! This lovely vintage bust now lives in America.
