This is a stunning vintage wasp waisted mannequin dating to around the 1900s. She truly is a museum quality antique mannequin. She is in excellent condition, with no denting or crushing to the torso, or any rips and tears to the fabric. She does have a few marks to the fabric in keeping with her age.
Her arms are articulated at the shoulders, elbow and wrists and so she can be posed depending on how she needs to be displayed. Her hands are a work of art in themselves - her thumbs and index fingers are jointed and she has carved finger nails. The only damage I can see to the whole mannequin is that she is missing her index finger at the joint on her left hand.
Her head sits safely on the top of the torso, with only a bit of chipping to the base of the neck.
Her stand has the Stockman marking and the height can be adjusted by way of the original turnkey, inscribed 'Stockman' on one side and 'Paris' on the other.
I could go on and on about this wonderful piece, but pictures will describe her better that I could in words - so I have included lots!
Do get in touch if you have any questions at all about her.
