This lovely waspwaist mannequin is in really good condition, with some staining to be expected,
which I have tried to show clearly in the pictures. I can't really make out what the make is,
but it looks to be a good quality bust, especially with the light coloured fabric, as most
mannequins were black fabric around the turn of the century. She must have lost her
stand at some point, as the stand she has now is a stockman make. The turn key is embossed with
'Stockman' on one side and 'Paris' on the other and she is height adjustable. The original inner pole was badly warped and made the torso lean over, so I have replaced it with
a new one, along with a new finial. These have been made by my wood
turner in the exact style of the originals. She has a bit of a dent to the back of her bustle and so the fabric flattens out at this part.
The stand has a smattering of old worm holes which is also to be expected.
